NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Westfall Township Building, 102 LaBarr Lane, Matamoras, Pennsylvania, a Public Hearing will be held before the Westfall Township Board of Supervisors regarding the application of Thien Pham who is seeking a variance of the Westfall Township Floodplain Ordinance Number 101.  The applicant is proposing the construction of a l,148 square foot garage located at 152 Mountain Avenue, Matamoras, PA 18336, which is located within the floodplain. Ordinance 101 Section 4.02(D)(2) states that the maximum floor area for an accessory structure within the floodplain is 600 square feet. Given this, the applicant is requesting a variance of the permitted square footage for an accessory structure. The Board shall hear evidence at the public hearing from the Applicant and all other interested parties and may likewise deliberate and take action upon the application.
