Westfall Township in Pike County is accepting sealed bids for the following equipment:
* A 2009 Freightliner; Registered Gross Weight 39,000; Weight Class 12; Air Ride Cab Seats; Central Hydraulic System; Dual Control Hydraulic Spreader; Air Control Tail Gate; Tenco Dump Body; Hydraulic Plow Controls; Cummins Diesel Engine; 11’ Henderson Plow with Carbide edge cover blade; Allison Automatic Transmission; Electric PTO in transmission; Tires 315 x 80R 22.5; Factory installed four wheel drive; approximately 52,900 miles. Minimum bid $30,000.
Bids must be received by the Township Secretary no later than 3:00 pm Thursday, October 3, 2019, prevailing time, at PO Box 247, Matamoras, PA 18336 or the Westfall Township Municipal Building, 102 LaBarr Lane, Matamoras, PA 18336. All bids must be in writing and be accompanied by security for the performance of the bid, if awarded, in the amount of ten percent of the bid. Said security to be by surety bond, cashier’s check or certified check made payable to the Township of Westfall. All transfer taxes and fees to be paid by the successful bidder. The vehicle will be sold in “as is” condition with no warranties implied or expressed. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids will be opened and considered for award at the Westfall Township Supervisor meeting to be held on October 7, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Successful bidder must pick up vehicle. No delivery by seller.
