Notice to Westfall Township Residents
Please be advised that the Westfall Township Supervisors will conduct a Hearing on the proposed adoption of an Ordinance of Westfall Township increasing the yearly Township Supervisor compensation from one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five ($1,875.00) dollars to three thousand one hundred and forty-five ($3,145.00) dollars, paid in monthly increments of two hundred and sixty-two ($262.00) dollars, on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 6:45 P.M. at the Westfall Township Municipal Building located at 102 LaBarr Lane, Matamoras, PA 18336. All interested Township Residents are invited to attend and comment on the proposed Ordinance Adoption. The full text of the proposed Ordinance is available for inspection at the Township Municipal Building during normal business hours, the Township website, at the Pocono Record, at the Pike County Dispatch, and a copy shall be provided if requested for a nominal fee.

Westfall Township Ordinance 180 Increaising Supervisors Yearly Compensation
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Westfall Township Board of Supervisors until
1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Westfall Township Municipal Building, 102 LaBarr Lane Matamoras, Pa 18336 for the following work:
9,465 SY of a Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS-2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M) and #8 Stone with a 1.0% Loss by Wash followed by a Bituminous Fog Seal as per current PennDOT 408 Specifications/Section 472. All material is to be complete in place in conformance with current PENNDOT Pub.408, Specifications.
All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 – Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class “F4” Bituminous Surface Treatments.

The bids will be presented to the Westfall Township Board of Supervisors at the scheduled regular meeting on Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at which time they will be considered, and the contract may be awarded.
The Westfall Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
All work must be completed by September 15, 2025; liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $875 per day for each day beyond this date that the work remains incomplete.
