Westfall Township in Pike County is accepting sealed bids for the following equipment:
* A 2008 Chevrolet 1 Ton Pick Up Truck with Duramax Diesel Engine; 5-speed Allison automatic transmission; four wheel drive; 8 foot bed; 8.5 foot Pro Plus Western power angle plow; Air flow Stainless steel 3 yard hydraulic spreader and approximately 125,000 miles. Minimum bid $12,000.00.
Bids must be received by the Township Secretary no later than 3:30 pm Thursday, August 1, 2019, prevailing time, at PO Box 247, Matamoras, PA 18336 or the Westfall Township Municipal Building, 102 LaBarr Lane, Matamoras, PA 18336. All bids must be in writing and be accompanied by security for the performance of the bid, if awarded, in the amount of ten percent of the bid. Said security to be by surety bond, cashier’s check or certified check made payable to the Township of Westfall. All transfer taxes and fees to be paid by the successful bidder. The vehicle will be sold in “as is” condition with no warranties implied or expressed. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids will be opened and considered for award at the Westfall Township Supervisor meeting to be held on August 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Successful bidder must pick up vehicle. No delivery by seller.
